I can't say for sure exactly how far I'll go with this project, so please don't stop back next Tuesday and expect this whole big slick professional production. It's more of a hobby site, and I'll probably build it page by page after a gaming session. Or, more likely, after I finish a book or magazine article that set my mind into motion on something like card counting or game theory or some sort.
Casino games are interesting because they are slanted in the direction of the house, almost be definition. After all, it wouldn't take long for the casino to go belly-up if there was a game that all the players could consistently win against. So, make no mistake about it, unlike human opponent games, like poker, chess, or gin, casino games are, in the end, unbeatable. So, if you're going to play them for money, be prepared to lose it. Consider it spending money in exchange for entertainment, please.
Eventually I'll take a look at the different methods that others claim to use to get around the house edge. Lying buggards they are. If you could beat a roulette wheel with ease, they wouldn't have them in casinos. It's that simple.
So, why play the games? Well, games are fun. And they're so different that something about at least one of the casino games will be appealing to someone. Even if you don't risk money on the outcomes, playing blackjack or video poker can be interesting and exciting.
And, since those are two games that you can do better at if you know the strategy involved, I thought someone ought to put that stuff online.
I've seen a million websites (ok, perhaps a few hundred thousand) where you can get this:
We'll see in the end. Like I said, I'm not sure how far I'll take this online casino game strategy site, but for now, wlecome to my hobby page!
If you need a point in the right direction for some decent info on some games, you can try . . .

And, for good measure, here's a link for those that feel the thrill of the gamble, instead of the fun of the game . . . GA
